ESPOL Naval Engineering graduates participate in #Colombiamar2025⚓.
Five recent graduates of Naval Engineering from FIMCM - ESPOL, Ignacio Chinchin, Jean Carlos Guerrero, María José Valdez, Raúl Pesantes and Daniel Paredes, represented the faculty at the IX International Congress of Naval Design and Engineering - COLOMBIAMAR 2025.
During the congress, they presented their research work in Ship Design, a subject taught by Dr. Jhonny Domínguez, standing out for their contribution to naval development.
As part of their visit, they toured COTECMAR Naval Shipyard, where they learned more about innovation in the industry together with Eng. Omar Vásquez, Head of Naval Architecture at Cotecmar, and Eng. José Barba, ESPOL graduate.
